The Ernest Moving is licensed and insured by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC). License number: Cal P.U.C. T-190610. To be insured by the CPUC, moving companies must prove their financial and safety fitness. They must also prove to the CPUC that they have adequate insurance, and they are subject to criminal background clearance by the California Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation.
The sooner, the better. We accommodate all our customers’ schedules as best we can. To ensure you get the date(s) you want, call as soon as you know when you’ll be moving.
We are happy to serve you Monday-Saturday. The office hours are 9AM to 6PM and 9AM to 1PM on Saturday.
Yes! We move most upright pianos, but not baby grand or grand pianos. Talk with your Ernest Moving representative ahead of time so we can make arrangements.

NO! We are very forward and upfront about our prices. We do NOT have any hidden charges or fees, just the hourly rate and the travel charge that never changes.
It’ s our mission to move your belongings safely and securely. To ensure your items are moved unharmed, we carefully pad and shrink wrap them. We take great pride in your furnishings and will treat them as if they are our own.
